Why I will NOT get vaccinated as long as Joe Biden is President
I am not an “anti-vaxer”. My husband is fully vaccinated, and I am grateful because all of the scientific and anecdotal evidence indicates that vaccines are effective to prevent death and serious complications for most people.
Nevertheless, in response to our President’s announcement regarding a federal vaccine mandate, I must say, “I will NOT comply.” Here is why-
First, I had COVID back in November of 2020 and already know how my body will likely respond to the virus even in the event that the natural immunity I acquired is eventually diminished.
Furthermore, there is ZERO evidence that unvaccinated people spread COVID more readily than vaccinated people. Vaccinated people are contracting the Delta variant but are experiencing less severe symptoms. Therefore, my individual vaccination status is not potentially hurting or helping anyone other than ME.
Secondly, and more importantly, I am powerless.
I am powerless to bring back the lives of brave American soldiers needlessly killed due to a reckless and incompetent Afghanistan exit strategy orchestrated by Joe Biden’s administration.
I am powerless to help the Americans and American allies abandoned to a terrorist regime that will literally rape, brutalize, and kill those left behind (other than the few that Joe Biden’s administration will quietly ransom with American taxpayer $$).
I am powerless to stop the surge of humanity on the southern border, which is contributing to the massive increase in fentanyl supply, sex trafficking, tragic death of hopeful immigrants who don’t complete the journey (called “Biden bodies” by ranchers on the border), and yes unvaccinated COVID positive cases, as a result of Joe Biden’s immigration policies.
I am powerless to stop the media powers from pressing an ideological position instead of reporting the actual news in its blatant and transparent efforts to protect and defend the Joe Biden presidency and progressive agenda.
I am powerless to stop the social media platforms from “fact-checking” the truth instead of permitting reasonable and intelligent people to have honest conversations that lead individuals to informed decisions about COVID origins, masks, mandates, treatments and vaccines.
I have little to fight with but a lot to fight for. A small insignificant act of rebellion seems to be the only tool available. I believe reasonable people must stand up for truth and freedom and common sense against a federal government that lies, manipulates and divides its own citizens with fear mongering and threats.
